authors of the WHO guidelines on dealing with flu pandemics received money from pharmaceutical companies

Some of the experts who have contributed to the guidelines of the World Health Organisation (WHO) to deal with flu pandemics were, at the same time money from pharmaceutical companies Roche and Glaxo Smith Kline.

It is questionable how objective the WHO guidelines for the use of vaccines during a flu pandemic, really.

Roche and Glaxo Smith Kline distribute vaccines and drugs against influenza viruses: From Roche is the active ingredient Oseltamivir, known under the trade name Tamiflu, zanamivir (trade name Relenza) is sold for several years by Glaxo Smith Kline.
