prerequisites for the success of a community are: first
Mutual respect and respect
second Convergence of objectives and interests
third Willingness to develop in approximately the same rate in the same direction
It is therefore essential to even before the establishment of or accession to a community, about worrying about the what, who, what, how, what, with whom.
What is the philosophy or vision of the whole is destroyed?
- what are the goals?
- what are our rules / regulations?
- how do we deal with conflict?
- what are our values?
- the balance of give and take has to be right
- how, what and who can realize this?
This then results in the details and it is working out what makes this special community. It is helpful to fix everything in writing and work out.
The principle in this respect: as simple as possible but not simpler. If that describes everything and more than once thought, the concept is simple and consistent, that you have to make the decision: no bad compromises! Consensus, yes, but not a bad compromise!
Many community seekers / entrepreneurs would be much more personal and financial suffering have been saved if they had invested a portion of the initial euphoria in good planning.
